Summer School Spending Article

 

During the weeks commencing 26^th July, 2^nd and 9^th August 2021, John Taylor High School ran the Year 6 into 7 Transition Summer School. This was planned and delivered in accordance with Department for Education Guidance and Funding for Summer Schools 2021. The John Taylor High Summer School was supported by several roles across the school and the wider MAT community, ranging from fully trained teaching staff, teaching assistants, support staff and Sixth Form Leader volunteers.

Across those 15 days, we welcomed some 152 students who took part in a range of activities including:

Photography

Science

PE/Games

External Trips

Drama

Music

Design and Technology

School Site Treasure Hunt

Emotional Wellbeing

 

We look forward to continuing our work with the 2021 Year 7 cohorts as they embark on their JTHS journey.
