Sixth Form Induction 2020

Congratulations on receiving a conditional offer to join our Sixth Form. Although we find ourselves in a challenging situation, this doesn’t prevent us from being excited about introducing you to your chosen subjects and our sixth form.  During assemblies and in our tutor programme, we discuss the importance of resilience and perseverance and it is testament to you that you have already demonstrated that you are developing these attributes by completing the skills and subject specific transition work independently at home (Copies of this can be found on the Yr 11 into Yr 12 Transition page on our website).

In previous years, we have welcomed students into school on our Induction days however, this year, we are bringing an insight to our sixth form to you! Whether you are new to John Taylor High School or have been with us since Year 7 you will need to watch the video from Mrs Spencer, Director of Post 16 to find out what you need to do next.

We hope that the information on these pages gives you an insight into life as a Sixth Former at John Taylor High School and we can’t wait to welcome you in school in September. If you have any queries, please contact sixthform@jths.co.uk.
