Bursary Winners

Barton Music Makers is delighted to announce its support for the training of young musicians in the community with the presentation of this year’s Bursary Awards (inspired by the memory of the late Pam Pryce, a former pianist) to three students at John Taylor High School! Each person receives £300 for private music lessons to build on and improve their skills on their given instrument. This year we are pleased to award the following:

Jack Year 8 – drums

Rosie Year 10 – clarinet

Eleanor Year 11 – clarinet

The photos were taken on the presentation night 19th October 2023 where Dr Stephen Taylor, Chairman and Choir Leader, presented certificates on behalf of Barton Music Makers to each of the recipients with our congratulations.

All three musicians will be performing at this year’s Christmas Concert in Barton Village Hall on Saturday, 9th December, 7.30pm. Tickets will be available nearer the time. All proceeds from our concerts and other events are used for charitable purposes. For more information visit the BMM website: www.bartonmusicmakers.org
