On Friday 10th June both staff and sixth form prepared for a charity netball match which was organised by Miss Harvey’s form, K11. The game was highly competitive throughout and both teams put in a fantastic performance.  However, the staff managed to squeeze in a few goals to win the final quarter of what was a close game. The match ended with a final score of staff (19) students (15). A great effort was made by both teams and they managed to raise a total of £121, some of which was raised by selling cakes which were kindly made by the Y7s in K11(Olivia Ashford, Freya Moore and Phoebe Palmer).  This money will be going to Kingstone’s house charity— the Birmingham ‘Eye Believe’ Children’s Hospital charity.

A huge thank you to Mrs Berry who umpired the game so professionally! Thank you to staff and students who took part and spectated; fun was had by all and we hope to do this again next year!
