On Friday 10th June, the U13 and U15 girls cricket teams played a tournament at Little Stoke ground in Stone. It was a great day and we did well to avoid the rain with it only drizzling once. The U13s won three of their games but unfortunately in our last match we were beaten by St Joseph’s from Stoke who were our toughest competition yet.

The girls played amazingly and we were only beaten by one over and just missed out in the final. Well done girls.

The U15s unfortunately did not win their matches, but enjoyed every single game. They also played brilliantly with some talented skills. Well done U15s.

Both teams also got to meet England cricket player Dani Wyatt, who is going to come and deliver some cricket in the autumn term here at John Taylor!
