Following some student and staff voice activities across this academic year, and the work of a staff working party, we are further developing our behaviour expectations for the start of the new academic year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff who have worked hard at developing this strategy and for giving up several lunchtimes to support this process.
To establish a common approach to the behaviour management of all students which will support staff and students in getting the most from their education through a persistent and consistent approach.
This is NOT a zero tolerance approach, but is based on achieving greater consistency of approach so our key expectations become the norm for every student. A set of consequences will be implemented should the expectations not be met.
