Lily Tyas, Keeley Brodrick and Isabel Sharp, Sporting Young Ambassadors and leaders from Y8 recently visited Mosley Academy primary school to present an assembly about the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil which is taking part later this year. The pupils had been preparing their assembly for the last few months and this was the first time they had presented it to pupils from the John Taylor family of primary schools. The boys who are Ambassadors are waiting to go to All Saints, Rangemore primary school in February to present an assembly on the European championships which are taking part in France later on this year.
Here’s their own account:

Having prepared our Powerpoint on the Olympics 2016 we were ready to go with Mrs Berry to show it to the children at Mosely Academy, Anslow . It was our first ever presentation to a large group and we were really nervous. The children came into the hall so there was no option but to begin! Despite being So scared we found ourselves beginning to enjoy the presentation and the children were very well behaved and attentive. We were worried that they would not have any questions at the end but that was not the case; they asked us plenty which was great. By the end we felt quite proud of ourselves and we are looking forward to oing to the next school to show the Powerpoint again. This was all part of our role in school as Young Ambassadors.
