Cara, Francesca, Emily and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Marchington for being so supportive of us over the last year, as we now have to say Goodbye and hand over to your four new house leaders. We havemthoroughly enjoyed getting to know you all better, and we hope you have enjoyed everything we have offered as house leaders! We would like to thank all of the forms who were quick in raising us some money towards our house charities, and we look forward to Marchington Marathons!

Now it’s time to get to know your four new house leaders:

Josie Coupland (M04) – Hi, I’m Josie! I am currently studying Biology, Chemistry, RS and History, which is my favourite subject. I ride horses and play the piano when I can. I am excited to hear everyone’s opinions on the house and the school, and what they think would improve it further. I want to get people really involved in Marchington and activities like fundraising, sports day and house matches. I hope to continue the work of the past house leaders and improve any areas that need it!

Will Gray (M08) – Hi, I’m Will. I am studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Product Design and History. Out of school, I really enjoy playing squash, going to Air Cadets and anything related to cars! I think it would be great to get to know more people in Marchington, and the hobbies/interests they have, especially some of the lesserknown ones! I’m really looking forward to meeting and working with more people in the house, and getting to know their ideas!

Marya Bano (M10) – Hey guys, it’s Marya here! I hope to bring some fabulous and exciting ideas, which you will all love. Some of those ideas included raising money for charities in the most strange, but exciting ways!

Lucy Davenhill (M01) – Hey everyone! My name is Lucy and I am one of your new house leaders! I am really excited to bring new ideas to the house where we can all work together to raise money for charity, bring merits for the house, as well as hopefully winning some house competitions! My main interest is travelling, and one day I wish to travel around the whole of Europe!
