One afternoon in January we went into Richard Crosse Primary School to teach Bhangra dancing to the Y4, 5 and 6. We were inspired to do this by a man called Veejay who taught us and other people to dance. It was our first ever time going into a primary school to teach dance and we were quite nervous at first. Hattie Rumsey led the first class which was Y6 and we helped by standing in the group or at the front and demonstrated the actions. By the second class we were able to lead it ourselves and managed to teach the children the routine and then perform it at the end. It was a great opportunity for us and we will be going into more primary schools soon. We have learned a lot from doing this.
