Appeals Information

If you have been refused a place at John Taylor High School, you have the right to appeal against the decision.   Please note: John Taylor High School use an independent provider who organises the appeal hearing.

For applications made in the normal year 6 transition admissions round, please review the details below which outline the timescales and process involved. The deadline for lodging an appeal for a Y7 admission for September 2024 is 4pm on 29th March 2024.

Your appeal will be heard by a panel of three persons independent to the school. This is arranged through an external, independent, company.
